Less Than Perfect
I really loved working on “Less Than Perfect.” I wrote on it from it’s pilot to the last episode. It was a great show with a hilarious cast. Here’s a clip from an episode I wrote in the 4th season. It’s taken from a true dating story of mine… a guy really told me “when you kiss, too much teeth.”

Rude Awakening
“Rude Awakening” was my first show. It was SEMI autobiographical and ran 55 episodes on Showtime. (This was pre “Weeds” Showtime… so it was pretty low budget. I think “Hollywood Hot Tubs” ran in our time slot the year before). We had an awesome cast: Sherilynn Fenn, Lynn Redgrave, Jonathan Penner, Rain Pryor, Richard Lewis, etc.

Good Girls Don’t!
Some wonderful person on youtube was a fan of my show, “Good Girls Don’t.” (It was a short lived but super cute show I created for the Oxygen network). I had the most fun ever making this show. Anyway, somebody on Youtube loved it and posted entire episodes of it. Not great quality… but this one, Solemates, just… I loved it.

Claudia Lonow
Claudia Lonow started her career as an actress, playing Michele Lee’s chubby, loud-mouthed teenage daughter on “Knots Landing.” She did stand up comedy for a while, working across the country and doing some television. When she gave her best joke to Sarah Silverman, and Silverman killed with it, a writer was born. Her television-writing career took off when she wrote a semi-autobiographical spec pilot about a former nighttime soap opera television actress who gets sent to rehab, called “Rude Awakening.” Showtime bought the show, which ran for 55 episodes. Lonow has been creating and writing television ever since: “Good Girls Don’t” for Oxygen; “Accidentally On Purpose” for CBS and “How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life)” for ABC.
